What is the Practicum Hub?
The Practicum Hub is a centralized platform that connects BCACC student members with practicum opportunities. It brings together practicum providers, supervisors, and students in one place, making it easier to discover, share, and connect with practicum placement opportunities that support high-quality clinical training.
Why we created it
The Hub was born out of the need for a clearer, more coordinated way to connect students with practicum opportunities that align with BCACC standards.
It helps reduce the time and effort required for students and practicum providers while supporting ethical, high-quality training experiences across British Columbia.
How students can get benefit
Student members can log in and start browsing practicum listings tailored to their interests, location, and schedule.
How practicum sites can get involved
Practicum sites can create an account, set up a profile for their organization, and publish practicum placement listings that describe their setting, format, duration, and requirements. Sites can choose whether a listing represents a single specific placement or multiple similar placements, and manage applications in the way that works best for them.
