These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Practicum Hub.
By accessing or using the Practicum Hub, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility
Users must be legally capable of entering into binding agreements and must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
Platform Purpose
The Practicum Hub is an online platform intended to facilitate connections between practicum students, supervisors, organizations, clinics, agencies, and other parties involved in practicum training opportunities.
BCACC does not provide practicum placements, supervision services, employment services, educational services, or regulatory approvals through Practicum Hub.
User Accounts
Users are responsible for:
- maintaining account security;
- safeguarding passwords;
- ensuring information remains accurate and current;
- all activities occurring under their account.
User Content
Users retain ownership of content they submit.
By posting content on the Practicum Hub, users grant BCACC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, modify, store, and distribute such content for the operation and promotion of the platform.
Users represent that they have the authority to submit such content.
Prohibited Conduct
Users shall not:
- submit false or misleading information;
- impersonate another person or organization;
- violate applicable laws;
- infringe intellectual property rights;
- upload malicious software;
- harass, discriminate against, threaten, or harm others;
- misuse the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes.
BCACC may remove content or suspend accounts at its sole discretion.
Practicum Opportunities and Listings
Organizations are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings.
Students are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying opportunities.
BCACC does not verify all information posted by users and assumes no responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of opportunities or applicants.
Independent Verification
Users acknowledge that they are responsible for independently verifying:
- qualifications;
- credentials;
- registrations;
- insurance coverage;
- educational requirements;
- supervision requirements;
- regulatory compliance.
Intellectual Property
The Practicum Hub platform, including its design, content, logos, trademarks, graphics, and software, remains the property of BCACC or its licensors.
Users may not reproduce or distribute platform content without written permission.
Privacy
Use of the Practicum Hub is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Practicum Hub is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
BCACC makes no warranties regarding:
- availability;
- reliability;
- accuracy;
- completeness;
- suitability for any purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BCACC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of Practicum Hub or interactions between users.
Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless BCACC, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
- user conduct;
- user content;
- violation of these Terms;
- interactions with other users.
Suspension and Termination
BCACC may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Practicum Hub at any time and for any reason without liability.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
Changes to Terms
BCACC may amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Practicum Hub constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
