Independent Relationships
Any relationship established between a student and a practicum site, organization, supervisor, clinic, agency, university, employer, volunteer organization, or other third party is solely between those parties.
BCACC is not a party to such relationships and assumes no responsibility for:
- recruitment decisions;
- supervision arrangements;
- educational outcomes;
- employment matters;
- disciplinary matters;
- professional disputes;
- contractual disputes;
- conduct of users;
- client care or clinical services.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BCACC, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, claim, liability, cost, expense, or other consequence arising from:
- use of the Practicum Hub;
- reliance upon information available through the Practicum Hub;
- interactions between users;
- practicum placements;
- supervision arrangements;
- employment or volunteer opportunities;
- professional services provided by users;
- acts or omissions of students, supervisors, organizations, or other third parties.
User Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for:
- verifying qualifications and credentials;
- complying with applicable laws and regulations;
- obtaining required insurance coverage;
- satisfying academic and professional requirements;
- assessing the suitability and safety of placements and professional relationships.
